According to sources close to the organization, OpTic is close to complete the process of building the new Rocket League roster. Former Spacestation, Slater âRetalsâ Thomas will be part of the new OpTicâs squad for the next season. Austin âAYYJAYYâ Aebi, inactive in FaZe Clan is set to join the team while Christopher âmajicbearâ Acevedo will complete the lineup.
AYYJAYY turned inactive in FaZe following a 3rd-4th place in the World Championship but a win in the third regional event in North America against G2. Retals was part of Spacestation during 2020 and 2021 where the team was capable to collect some domestic competitions winnings. Majicbear was in Torrent since 2020 and now is expected to sign with OpTic.
