Into the Breach has just announced a significant change in their active lineup. Hristiyan ‘REDSTAR’ Pironkov will be stepping in to replace Mohammad ‘BOROSâ ‘ Malhas.
Most recently, the Bulgarian player was part of the short-lived 5W lineup, where he teamed up with Thomas ‘Thomas’ Utting and Joel ‘joel’ Holmlund.
During their first appearance at the Regional Clash Arena Europe 2024, ‘REDSTAR’played a crucial role in propelling 5W to a victorious first-place finish, boasting an impressive 1.25 average rating throughout the event. However, the team experienced a setback as they disbanded following abandonment by the organization.
After careful consideration, the team at Into the Breach has made the decision to bench ‘BOROS’ from their CS2 roster.Commenting on the decision, the organization acknowledged ‘BOROS’ as a talented player but expressed that things weren’t quite clicking. Meanwhile, ‘BOROS’ himself expressed mixed emotions, stating that it was the first time he felt happy about being benched.
The British AWPer ‘smooya’ has openly expressed frustration about the team’s poor performance. In a recent post-game interview, he mentioned that he finds the team’s results and work ethic to be “completely pathetic.” He added that he believes “Into the Breach” could quickly rise to the top 30 if the players are committed to putting in the hard work.
