The official Xtreme Gaming Weibo page has just unveiled the highly anticipated Dota 2 roster for the upcoming 2025 season. The support players ‘XinQ’ and ‘Dy’ have decided to take some time off from professional gaming, while the three core players have chosen to remain together as a team.
The team has filled the vacant positions with ‘Pyw’ and ‘天命’.
‘Pyw’ is a well-known figure in the Chinese Dota 2 scene, having been a prominent player in the Tier 1 professional circuit since 2019. He has been a part of reputable teams including Team Sincerity, Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and most recently, LGD Gaming. With nearly a decade of experience in competitive gaming, the 29-year-old player is considered a seasoned veteran in the esports community.
Throughout his career in Dota 2, ‘天命’ has showcased impressive results. Starting from lower tier teams, the hard support player joined Azure Ray in 2023. His notable achievements include a 4th place finish at The International 2023 and a remarkable victory at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, where he played alongside ‘Xm’ and ‘Xxs’ as temporary stand-ins. This highlights his ability to adapt and perform well alongside core players.
Rumors had been circulating that ‘Ame’ might step away from professional Dota, but he has ultimately chosen to continue playing for at least one more season.
