Gekko’s Utility Adjustments
Gekko has made his way into the current meta, making him one of the strongest Initiators in the game. His current utility makes him a versatile agent, helping teammates effortlessly take sites and plant bombs. Alongside his signature ability and molly Moshpit, which is good in post-plants, Gekko has a strong ultimate ability called Thrash, which is used for taking and retaking bomb sites. With all these utility sets, Riot Games felt the need to give Gekko a few adjustments to provide a fairer experience for the players.
The adjustments are as follows:
Dizzy
- ▪️ Time active after being thrown and forming is reduced by 1.5s >>> 1s
- ▪️ Targeting is more reliable
- ▪️ Goop flash now also blinds the minimap of affected players
Wingman
- ▪️ Increased angle of the cone concuss
- ▪️ New visual for planting
Thrash
- ▪️ Ultimate points increased by 7 >>> 8
Globule (Gekko Utility on the ground)
- ▪️ Reduced time in world 20s >>> 15s
- ▪️ Reclaim time increased 1s >>> 1.5s
