1WIN has recently revealed their updated roster, introducing three new additions following the decision to bench and transfer-list Sanzhar ‘neaLaN’ Iskhakov, Boris ‘Ryujin’ Kim, and Timur ‘buster’ Tulepov in early September. Additionally, 1WIN has also parted ways with coach Aset ‘Solaar’ Sembiyev during the same period.
All three of the players 1WIN have previously represented the organization. These players include Rassim ‘Jyo’ Valijev, who will be the team’s in-game leader, Alexandr ‘oz1k’ Sevastyanov, and Kirill ‘cronuss’ Savin.
Earlier this year, ‘Jyo’ was a part of the team 1WIN, while ‘oz1k’ and ‘cronuss’ played for the organization’s academy roster before joining ‘Jyo’ in the team called Enjoy.
1WIN was without a team for a significant portion of the beginning of this year. Their previous lineup, which included players like Denis ‘deko’ Zhukov and Kirill ‘Boombl4’ Mikhailov, disbanded at the end of 2023.
In April, the Russian organization assembled a roster that included renowned players such as buster and ‘neaLaN’. The team displayed early potential, achieving a second-place finish in Hellcase Cup 9 and securing a top-four position in CCT Season 2 Europe Series 3.
The team’s performance started to decline, leading them to replace ‘Jyo’ with Abay ‘HObbit’ Khassenov in July. Despite the change, the team’s performance did not improve, prompting the organization to undergo a complete overhaul after failing to advance through the Perfect World Shanghai Major EU RMR closed qualifier.
After announcing their revamp, 1WIN expressed their initial reliance on the coach’s authority and experience in forming the previous lineup. However, as the season progressed, it became evident that the squad was not progressing at the desired pace.
