FACEIT presented an updated version of its platform, which will be launched on November 26. You can download the updated application now by clicking here. The main changes are improved anti-cheat, an updated interface, and faster site performance.
The company has also developed a mechanism to detect Smurf accounts, updated the statistics section, and introduced a new filter for group search, where you can select the country and language to choose your teammates.
FACEIT Anti-Cheat is now better at finding and recognizing multi-accounts. If a user with multiple accounts is detected, they will have 48 hours to confirm their primary profile – the others will be blocked. If caught smurfing a second time, the player will immediately get a ban on all accounts.
The FACEIT Track section will replace FACEIT Stats. It will provide users with statistics on maps, days of the week, grenade usage, and other metrics, as well as analyze various other metrics.
In addition, the platform has added a club system where you can run your leagues and new modes (Premium Super Match, which will add/remove 30 ELOs per match, and Veteran Matching, which matches players based on number of matches).
FPL seasons will now include weekly tournaments. All matches will be broadcast on FACEIT Watch. At the end of the season, the champion and top ten players will share a $50k prize pool in addition to the $147k in weekly FPL tournaments. The FPL queues will be available on Friday and Saturday from 21:00 to 02:00 CET in Europe.
