The Swiss organization Permitta made a significant announcement on Tuesday, revealing that they have decided to bench their entire roster for the upcoming season. This bold move allows their players the freedom to explore new opportunities and options as they seek potential teams or ventures in the competitive landscape of esports.
The main lineup, consisting of Martin ‘maaryy’ Nakonieczny, Bartosz ‘bnox’ Niebisz, and Bartek ‘mASKED’ Trybuła, has been part of Permitta since the beginning of the year. In May, Tomasz ‘tomiko’ Uroda was acquired on loan from 9INE, while Sebastian ‘fr3nd’ Kuśmierz joined the squad in September.
The Polish team was primarily positioned between No. 50 and No. 70 in the rankings throughout most of the year. In October, they triumphed at the RTV Euro AGD Game Zone Masters, a LAN event featuring four teams in Poznan, which was headlined by Passion UA, the team that eventually qualified for the Shanghai Major.
In their final outing as Permitta, the team secured a top-eight position at the IESF World Championship in Riyadh, defeating teams such as Turkey and Mindfreak before being eliminated by Serbia in the quarter-finals.
