9INE has placed Kévin ‘misutaaa’ Rabier and Alexandru ‘s0und’ Ștefan on the bench, giving them the opportunity to assess their options, as announced by the Swedish organization on Sunday. This decision initiates the beginning of the team’s rebuilding phase for the 2025 season.
After struggling to assemble a competitive Polish team following the sale of their key players to ENCE, 9INE went international in May and created a roster featuring ‘misutaaa’, Mateusz ‘mantuu’ Wilczewski, and Ismail ‘refrezh’ Ali, all of whom bring significant tier-one experience.
Achieving a win in the FASTCUP CSGORUN Cup Season 1 and securing second place in the European Pro League Season 17 were among the rare highlights in what was otherwise a challenging season for 9INE, who reached a high of 56th in the world rankings just last month.
The duo’s demotion leaves 9INE needing to fill three remaining positions. In October, the Swedish organization also ended its relationship with head coach Mikołaj ‘miNirox’ Michałków. A new replacement has not yet been announced.
