League of Legends Season 1: Welcome to Noxus will officially launch on Jan 9, 2025. We are just one day away from the big reveal, but Riot decided to surprise us with the trailer. The latter is 5 minutes long and includes tons of awesome moments.
The League of Legends Season One Cinematic Trailer
Like some of Riot’s other trailers, this one looks very nice. It was made alongside Fortiche, the studio that “powers” the Arcane series, which became very popular in the last few years.
Something that people will appreciate about the trailer is that it includes a lot of champions that haven’t been featured so far. The list consists of names like:
- LeBlanc
- Elise
- Vladimir
- Katarina
- Trundle
- Darius
If you look at the cinematic, you will see that it features several stories, such as the one with Katarina. The latter tries to assassinate someone, but three champions stop her, one of whom is Mel. What’s interesting is that this champion is not in League of Legends yet, but there are rumors that it will be added soon. For now, Mel is only available in Teamfight Tactics.
The end of the League of Legends Cinematic Trailer is also intriguing. There is a conversation between LeBlanc and Vladimir, both of whom are a part of the Black Rose shadow organization.
League of Legends in 2025
The Noxus-themed update is coming soon, and it is safe to say that Riot is focusing a lot on the story. If everything goes according to plan, we will have three different seasons in 2025. Each one will focus on a specific region in Runterra and will have its unique storyline and theme.
The idea behind this decision is to allow Riot to provide different content based on that story. We should see many new skins, modes, champions, and more. In the upcoming update, for example, we will have a new Feats of Strength system, as well as a new boss.
In terms of Arcane, it is very unlikely that we will see Season 3 because this was never the idea. Instead, the people who work on the show are also working on different spin-offs around it. It will be interesting to see what the final product is, so make sure you follow us for more details.
