Complexity has confirmed the recruitment of Danny ‘cxzi’ Strzelczyk and Nick ‘nicx’ Lee, validating a recent report from Dust2.us and finalizing their roster following the recent exits of Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski and Ricky ‘floppy’ Kemery.
The changes signify a major overhaul of Complexity’s starting roster after a year of lackluster performance in international competitions, with their most recent exit being from the Opening Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
‘Floppy’ was sidelined by Complexity shortly after the mentioned Major, just before star rifler ‘EliGE’ left amidst speculation about a transfer to FaZe. In making the replacements, Complexity has chosen to promote local talent.
‘cxzi’ has been a seasoned player in North America for almost five years, having most recently competed with Joshua ‘steel’ Nissan in ESEA Advanced Season 48. During this season, Undone achieved promotion to ESL Challenger League through Relegation, with ‘cxzi’ maintaining an average rating of 1.27 across 10 maps.
‘nicx’ is a significantly less seasoned player, having only made his ESL Challenger League debut in Season 45. Over the past year, he played for LAG, where he achieved an average rating of 1.12 and secured victory at Fragadelphia Philadelphia in early 2024. Recently, he was on trial with Nouns before attracting attention from Complexity.
