Even though there are still more than two months left until the beginning of the PGL Wallachia Season 3, we already have information about the event. The organizers decided to announce the names of all directly invited teams, so let’s go through them.
PGL Wallachia Season 3 – Direct Invites
Here is a list of all Dota 2 teams that received a direct invitation to the PGL Wallachia Season 3:
- Team Liquid
- Gaimin Gladiators
- Xtreme Gaming
- Aurora Gaming
- Tundra Esports
- HEROIC
- Team Spirit
- Team Falcons
The first Dota 2 team to play in Romania in March is Team Liquid. PGL invited the European powerhouse following its series of successful results so far.
It is also no surprise that Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports are here. Following the roster changes, it will be very interesting to see Tundra in action. The team definitely looks scary on paper.
Besides these names, fans will also see the Chinese powerhouse Xtreme Gaming, the South American team of HEROIC, and more.
PGL Wallachia Season 3: 8 More Teams to Join via Qualifiers, Set for 2025
Aside from the directly invited teams, PGL Wallachia Season 3 will have 8 more teams. Similar to other competitions, these slots will be determined following qualifiers. 4 teams will be from Europe, two come from the Americas, and one from China and SEA.
We won’t dive deep into the tournament’s format, but it is going to be one of the big competitions of 2025. Keep in mind that we will also see Season 4 in April, followed by Season 5 in November.
