Luca ‘Luken’ Nadotti has made a remarkable comeback to 9z after being away from the team for two and a half years.
This marks his third time with La Violeta, following four months in 2019 and five months in 2022, during which he assisted the team in securing a spot at the PGL Major Antwerp. In achieving this, he and Martin ‘rox’ Molina became the first players from Argentina to qualify for a Major.
The decision validates a portion of a report from Dust2.com.br on January 6 that also highlighted the inclusion of Gustavo ‘yel’ Knittel in the coaching role, as we anticipate official confirmation.
‘El Toro’ will serve as a rifler behind Antonio ‘MartinezSa’ Martinez, taking over from Nicolás ‘buda’ Kramer as 9z makes changes to their lineup in preparation for 2025.
‘Luken’ has participated in only 47 maps since July 2022, with the majority occurring during a three-month period at the start of 2023 while he was with BESTIA. However, he made an impression by achieving a 1.10 rating across 8 maps as a stand-in for 9z in May of the previous year.
9z had a notable semi-final appearance at IEM Dallas in 2024, along with a victory at the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals, but not much else, and the team will be looking for ‘Luken’ to breathe new life into the lineup surrounding Maximiliano ‘max’ Gonzalez.
