CCT has announced the invitations for CCT Season 2 Europe Series 18. Sixteen teams will compete in the Closed Qualifier, twelve will advance to the group stage, and eight will be directly invited to the playoffs.
The competition started on February 4 and will adhere to the standard structure of a CCT tournament. The 16 teams in the Closed Qualifier will compete for one of the four spots available in the group stage, where 16 teams will contend in a Swiss-system BO3 format, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs.
They will participate with the teams selected for the playoffs in a single-elimination best-of-three bracket.
CCT has also stated that the invitations were redone on Monday after an incorrect version of the VRS was utilized, with the updated invites now reflecting the accurate list from January 6.
