Overview
After Stage 1 and Stage 2, we now know eight teams that will attend the playoffs and fight for the prize pool of $400,000. We didn’t get any underdog teams in the playoff stage this time, and now we will see all the top teams fighting each other and showing their best. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top this time. Natus Vincere are the champions of ESL Pro League 20, and it’s their chance to defend their champions title.
Playoff Stage Brackets and Teams
- Vitality
- Liquid
- Natus Vincere
- TheMongolZ
- MOUZ
- G2
- Eternal Fire
- Spirit
Favorites
Spirit looks like the favorite for their side of the bracket since G2 doesn’t look as good as before. MOUZ has yet to prove itself against the best teams with its new in-game leader, and Eternal Fire is also shaky.
It is not that clear about the other side of the bracket. Natus Vincere is here to defend their champion title, but they’re not in their best shape. TheMongolZ did great in previous stages, but they still lack consistency. Team Liquid got unfortunate with the bracket. They don’t seem ready for the best teams yet, even though they always have a chance to surprise. Vitality crushed the previous stage and will be the biggest threat to Natus Vincere if they both get to the semi-final.
