Match Overview
The second semi-final of ESL Pro League Season 21 will be Vitality in a match against TheMongolz. Vitality is the champion of the recent tournament, but it seems like they want another one, and The Mongolz has another chance to prove what they’re capable of against top teams. These two teams met each other at IEM Katowice 2025, and Vitality won with a score of 2-0.

A rare thing to see is someone else except ‘ZywOo’ leading the scoreboards for this team, but in their quarter-final match against Liquid, their recent addition ‘ropz’ was completely demolishing their opponents, and ‘ZywOo’ had to take second place on the scoreboards but it was a clear show from both of them showing that they’re both in a great shape. Two of these players being in that kind of shape makes it dangerous for any team. ‘flameZ’ and ‘mezii’ are doing their job as well, and ‘apEX’ is always there to keep them all motivated and do his job as an in-game leader.
TheMongolZ
‘Techno’ and ‘mzinho’ were completely shining in their quarter-final match against Natus Vincere, and despite being the underdogs, they made Natus Vincere look like underdogs with their performance. This time, ‘Senzu’ also gave a good performance, which is a good sign. Overall, the players seem to be in good shape, but recently, their problem was to be consistent against the top teams, and they better find a way to fix it coming into a match against a team like Vitality.

Vitality is clearly a more experienced team here, with better individual players who have much more experience playing the playoff stages of big tournaments. TheMongolZ has yet to prove itself against the best teams. We expect Vitality to win this match.
