TALON Esports Rebrands its Dota 2 Team – Flipster Talon

TALON Esports is one of the biggest names in Southeast Asian Dota 2, and the organization decided to rebrand itself. After partnering with Flipster, the organization’s Dota 2 roster will now play under the Flipster Talon name. Flipster secured the naming rights for the entire year.

People from outside Southeast Asia may not know, but Flipster is a popular cryptocurrency exchange. The company’s goal is to target Esports fans and promote its services. The brand is famous for its openness, creating approach, and has a lot of ideals for the esports community.

According to the information we have, Talon and Flipster will create “co-branded_” content, special drops, and more. Fans even expect to have access to different prizes that will give them a unique experience. 

Flipster gained a lot of traction in the last couple of months. The company is famous for having many different digital currencies and not having any fees. Moreover, people who decide to use it can work with up to 100x leverage. It will be interesting to see if this partnership with Talon will pay off.

Aside from partnering with Flipster, Talon has several other partnerships going on. One of them is with Melbet, one of the leading online betting operators in many parts of the world. 

Another interesting news about this organization is that it raised more than $2M in February. In 2020, the organization partnered with PSG and its League of Legends team, even managing to secure a slot for the 2020 World Championship. Sadly, the partnership ended in early 2025. 

Aside from Dota 2 and League of Legends, TALON also has rosters in Valorant. The organization is active in Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Kore,a and Thailand.
