It’s been a while since Dota 2 fans have seen Vici Gaming in professional Dota 2, but the legendary organization is back. Instead of focusing on new names, however, we will see some of China’s best Dota 2 players. Let’s learn more about it.
Vici Gaming’s new Dota 2 Roster
As it became clear from a post on Weibo, Vici Gaming is back in professional Dota 2. One of China’s most successful organizations will step back and try its luck in all the upcoming Dota 2 events.
What’s interesting is that Vici’s new roster does not consist of new names in China’s Dota 2 scene. Instead, the organization decided to add well-known and experienced stars, many of whom have played for Vici before. Speaking of the devil, here’s what the roster looks like:
- Zhang “Paparazi灬” Chengjun
- Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang
- Zhou “Yang” Haiyang
- Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi
- Ding “Dy” Cong
Everyone on the list except for Kaka has played for Vici at some point in the past. Some of them, such as Ori and Paparazi, made their name while playing for the club, so it will be very fun to see them back in action.
Vici’s new roster will most likely compete in the upcoming The International qualifiers, as well as many other big events. Even though the roster looks dangerous on paper, the reality is that it will probably face a lot of problems. Nowadays, the most successful Dota 2 teams consist of young and motivated players, so those who rely on some of the big names from the past often have problems. Nigma Galaxy is a prime example because the team has issues against some of the best teams right now.
