Following the epic The International 2025 qualifiers, we finally know the names of all Dota 2 teams that will head to the biggest event of the year. Just a few days before the beginning of the PGL Walalchia Season 5, the last teams from all regions earned their slot for TI. The competition was fierce, so let’s take a look at everything that happened.

    Contents

    • 1 North America – Wildcard
    • 2 South America – HEROIC
    • 3 Western Europe – NAVI Junior & Nigma Galaxy
    • 4 Eastern Europe – Aurora Gaming
    • 5 China – Xtreme Gaming
    • 6 Southeast Asia – Team Nemesis & BOOM Esports
    • 7 Final Thoughts

    North America – Wildcard

Starting with North America, the region only had one slot for TI 2025. Everyone expected Shopify Rebellion to be the one that would get it, but to our surprise, this was not the case.

Instead of SR, Wildcard will be the last NA team to join the best in the world. The squad did the impossible and defeated SR two times in a row. The Grand Final offered us an epic 5-game series, but in the end, Wildcard was better and deserved its slot at TI.

    South America – HEROIC

The battle in South America was fiercer than the one in NA. There were several teams here that we were looking forward to, but in the end, we expected HEROIC and OG.LATAM to be the two big powerhouses. While it’s true that they did not disappoint, in the end, HEROIC prevailed and secured the last SA slot.

An interesting fact is that HEROIC defeated OG.LATAM in the LB Final. OG’s new roster was unable to reach the Grand Final (this honor went to Edge). This was HEROIC’s second big achievement after the team also secured a slot for the Esports World Cup 2025, which will take place in the next couple of months.

Western Europe – NAVI Junior & Nigma Galaxy

The situation in Western Europe was fierce because this is Dota 2’s strongest region. As mentioned, almost all teams here had equal chances of succeeding and advancing to The International 2025. In the end, only two teams survived – NAVI Junior and Nigma Galaxy.

NAVI Junior was one of the teams we expected to perform well, and they did not disappoint. Despite losing several maps, the team ripped through many of the favorites, including OG and Nigma Galaxy.

As for the latter, we will see some of the biggest names in Dota 2 at TI 2025. NGX successfully reserved its slot for the event after defeating OG. The battle was fierce, but in the end, Nigma Galaxy was above the rest.

    Eastern Europe – Aurora Gaming

Moving to Eastern Europe, this was one of the regions where we did not see any big surprises. The usual suspects performed really well, so it all came down to Aurora Gaming and Cyber Goose.

Some people expected Cyber Goose to deliver a nasty surprise, especially after the team ripped through everyone in the Lower Bracket. However, this was not the case because Aurora Gaming was on another level and was the better team.

Following a quick 3-0, AG will advance to TI 2025 and will represent EEU.

    China – Xtreme Gaming

    [#Ti14 CN Qualifier]

    Final: XG vs YB (BO5)

    Game 3: XG Win

    XG 3-0 YB

We are honoured that Xtreme Gaming has successfully won the championship of the Ti CN Qualifier and won the ticket to enter TI14 this year. On behalf of all members of XtremeGaming, we would like to… pic.twitter.com/dFIPj2knSg

In our opinion, the Chinese Dota 2 region for The International 2025 was the most interesting to watch. Four big teams had equal chances of succeeding and advancing to the big event. In the end, however, Xtreme Gaming was above the rest and successfully secured a TI 2025 slot.

XG had to deal with all of the big names. The squad defeated Vici, Azure Ray, and Yakult Brothers (2 times in a row). Most people expected YB to do better in the Grand Final, but the team was outplayed in all 3 games and lost the series.

Southeast Asia – Team Nemesis & BOOM Esports

BOOM Esports are going to TI. They secure the second slot from the South East Asian Regional Qualifiers and advance on the Road to The International. Congratulations. #TI14 #Dota2 pic.twitter.com/3L1DehvvHq

The situation in Southeast Asia was interesting, to say the least. Like WEU, SEA had 2 slots for The International 2025, which was good news for the big powerhouses. Unfortunately, one of them could not take advantage of it and will miss out on TI 2025.

Talon Esports is the first big name in Dota 2 that we won’t see in Hamburg. Despite being the big favorite, Talon failed to defeat Team Nemesis, and the latter secured the first slot. The Filipino squad got here from the  Open Qualifiers, so seeing it at The International 2025 will be exciting.

As for the second slot, BOOM Esports lived up to the expectations.. The team defeated Talon Esports in a brutal Bo3 match, so we can’t wait to see it in action.

    Final Thoughts

Even though we won’t see some of the big names from each region, there’s no arguing that The International 2025 will be an epic event. The tournament will begin on September 4, so follow Blix.gg for more details.

These are the names of all TI 2025 teams we will see in Germany 3 months from now:
