Alongside Patch 7.39d, Valve decided to offer a new Dota 2 event. It’s called Quatero’s Curios, so here’s everything you need to know.
Dota 2 Quatero’s Curious
It’s safe to say that this was a much-needed change in Dota 2. People who have been playing the game long enough remember that the dashboard mostly showed the last match. While this can be a good thing when you win, once you lose and close the game, you are greeted with that loss every time.
Valve decided it is time to change, so it introduced Quartero. The latter is a new fee event that should make you have more fun while playing. According to Valve, he will appear when “things are quiet”, but once there’s a big event, such as The International, he will “slide aide to make room”.
The event has a lot to offer, so let’s learn everything about it.
The Event & Skins
Quartero’s Curios is essentially an event that will include free Dota 2 skins for the following heroes:
- Witch Doctor
- Legion Commander
- Vengeful Spirit
Each of those skins will be free to earn, and players can do that by playing games and earning experience. Every win and loss matters and will help you reach your goal faster.
The Quartero’s Curios Dota 2 event is not specifically related to The International 2025. However, players will have access to it until November 5.
In terms of the skins, each of them is free to get, and it’s safe to say it looks interesting. Keep in mind that Legion Commander’s skin becomes available once you reach level 100, so you will have to play a lot before accessing it.
Alongside these skins, you can also get different temporary visual effects for different times. Lastly, you will also collect something called Quartero’s Antiques, and you can trade it for a chance to get an old skin container, Arcanas, and even immortals.
