Day 4 of LoL Worlds 2025 came to an end and we saw 4 epic clashes. Each one was worth watching, especially the Gen. G vs T1 clash, so let’s learn more details about them. These matches took place just a day after KT Rolster and Anyone’s Legend secured a spot for the Worlds 2025 Knockout Stage.

This was definitely the most anticipated match at Worlds 2025 so far. Gen. G and T1 are the two Korean powerhouses and favorites for the trophy, so the clash between them was very important. Both made a mistake in their previous game and lost it, so the match had even more “weight”.

To be honest, we expected this clash to be very long and evenly matched, but this was not the case. Yes, Faker and co. had some good moments, but there is no arguing that Gen.G Esports was on another level. The team needed 27 minutes to win and moved one step closer to qualifying for the Knockout Stage

As for T1, the 2024 Worlds winners are in a bad position because they already have two losses. This means that if they lose one game, they will be out of the event.

G2 Esports, Hanwha Life and FlyQuest Defeated Their Opponents

Aside from the epic Korean clash, we saw three other matches, one of which was between FlyQuest and Secret Whales. We can’t say we were surprised by Fly Quest’s triumph, but the truth is that the game was a bit longer than expected.

The second clash that was intriguing put together G2 Esports and Bilibili Gaming. The Chinese were the favorites (especially after their last victory), but the European team surprised them. After the solid start, the team kept its momentum and delivered a nasty loss. This puts the Worlds 2024’s finalist in a bad position because they can’t afford to lose any more games.

Lastly, 100 Thieves were unable to survive against Hanwha Life. The Koreans had a very bad start after losing the first game, but they bounced back with two wins. Consequently, the team is just one game away from qualifying for the Knockout Stage.

The next couple of days will be very interesting because we have some deciding matches. We at Blix.gg will try to show you everything, so don’t forget to follow us.
