It’s safe to say that today has been an enjoyable day for League of Legends fans because they saw the Worlds 2025 Grand Final. Following an epic battle, T1 lifted the trophy once again and secured a third consecutive victory. Aside from that, Riot also unveiled the latest champion in League of Legends, so here’s what you need to know.
T1 and the Third Back-to-Back League of Legends Worlds Championship
The South Korean League of Legends powerhouse has done it again! Thanks to Faker and all of his teammates, the organization won a third consecutive LoL Worlds trophy in Chengdu. The victory game was an impressive one after an amazing victory against KT Rolsters in a match that was definitely not easy.
The series had everything we could wish for in a Grand Final because we saw 5 full games. Over 40,000 people from all over the world gathered in Chengdu to witness the match.
As expected, the two South Korean powerhouses did not want to go down without a fight. The series kicked off strong for KT, but T1 was able to turn things around after securing two key fights and eventually got the lead.
Game 2, on the other hand, went in favor of KT. The team was just better all around and outplayed their opponents. The same happened in Game 3 because Cuzz’s Mundo was on another level.
With their backs against the wall, T1 had no other choice but to step up their game, and they did it. Following a crucial victory in Game 4, T1 got the Galio/Camille combo, something that they are known for. The last match was closer than we thought, but in the end, T1 was victorious and secured the win.
Needless to say, this victory means a 6th title for LoL’s most successful organization.
Riot Unveiled the latest LoL Champion Called Zaahen
Before witnessing T1’s impressive victory at Worlds 2025, Riot made an important announcement. As expected, the company revealed the latest LoL champion and his name is Zaahen.
Based on the info we have, he will be a toplaner and will be available in Riot’s Public Beta Environment on November 10. We expect to see the new champion in action during Patch 25.23, which will land on November 19.
