The Predator League 2026 Philippines was an enjoyable event that included several regional powerhouses. As fans expected, Kukuys ended up winning the event in Manila following an epic Grand Final against Eexecration.
Kukuys’s Victory Against Execration
It’s safe to say the Grand Final between the two powerhouses was amazing to watch and became the most intriguing match. Both teams were eager to show everything they had and tried interesting tactics. In the end, Kuku and the rest of his team proved to be more experienced and determined to win.
Following the victory, the winning squad received a cheque for 200,000 PHP. Moreover, the victory has undoubtedly enhanced the team’s status in the region, and we expect it to become a powerhouse in Southeast Asia. Kuku was pleased with the squad’s performance and even praised his teammates for their efforts.
As for Execration, the squad also played well and received 120,000 PHP for its performance. In terms of the third place, it went in favor of InterActive Philippines. The latter and Team Nemesis (the squad that finished 4th), both got 50,000 PHP, but only the latter (alongside Kukuys and Execration) will represent the Philippines in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026. This tournament is scheduled to take place in January 2026 in India and is expected to be well worth attending, so be sure to keep an eye out for more details.
Southeast Asia’s Dota 2 Scene
Overall, the Dota 2 scene in Southeast Asia is slowly getting better. The region has always been one of the most passionate when it comes to this game, but the top teams have always had issues against their Western and Chinese counterparts. While this remains true even to this day, some teams (such as Kukuys) have what’s needed to go toe to toe with them.
2026 is approaching and we can’t wait to see if SEA will finally live up to the expectations and win a big event. South America (in the face of HEROIC) has proven they have what’s needed, so it is just a matter of time before SEA does the same.
