We are only one month away from 2026, so it’s no surprise that Riot Games decided to reveal the 2026 ERL Season schedule. These are the leagues that are below the LEC and are across the EMA region. Here’s what you need to know.
2025 ERL Season Schedule

Based on the information from Riot, there will be a total of 13 leagues for the upcoming season. We will see a competition in the UK, the Northern LoL Championship and the Spanish ERL.
An interesting fact is that all of these leagues will have the same schedules and formats. However, each one will have its own set of invited teams that we will have to wait and see in action. Here is the 2026 ERL schedule:
- ERL Winter Split – Between January 7 and March 8
- EMEA Masters Winter – From March 9 to March 15
- ERL Spring Split – From March 23 to June 7
- EMEA Masters Spring – From June 8 to June 25
- ERL Summer Split – From June 26 to September 17
- EMEA Masters Summer – From September 21 to October 19
In terms of the leagues themselves, here are all 13 options we’ll have access:
- Northern LoL Championship
- Hitpoint Masters
- Ligue Française de LoL
- Prime League
- Rift Legends
- LoL Italian Tournament
- Arabian League
- Liga Portuguesa de LoL
- Hellenic Legends League
- Esports Balkan League
- Road to Legends
- Spain ERL
- Turkish Champions League
Aside from all that, Riot also decided to remove the LTR restrictions. Those things were very annoying because every team needed to have at least two players from the specific region in order to play. The good news is that this condition is no longer present, so teams are free to decide the draft they want.
All in all, Riot is definitely trying to make the Tier 2 LoL scene a lot more interesting. We’ll have to wait to see if this is going to happen.
