NRG has announced that Josh “oSee” Ohm is returning to their Counter-Strike 2 starting roster, while Zack “XotiC” Elshani is stepping down from the team.
oSee is rejoining the team after spending several months on the bench, continuing his long relationship with the North American organization.
XotiC Steps Away From Competition

XotiC, who joined NRG earlier this year, said he stepped down because it was hard to balance professional Counter-Strike with his business commitments. Although his time with the team was short, the 22-year-old showed promise.
NRG supported XotiC’s decision and noted that top-level competition requires full-time dedication.
oSee’s Return to the Server

oSee is returning at an important time for NRG as they try to regain stability before the 2026 season. The 26-year-old AWPer spent almost two years with the team’s core, helping NRG win Fragadelphia 18 and several North American online events.
Although oSee’s international results were inconsistent, with a 0.99 rating at major global events before he was benched, he was a steady player in domestic matches and brings valuable experience back to the team.
He will make his first appearance since returning at Fragadelphia Miami, which is scheduled for January 2-4.
NRG Looking Ahead
NRG had mixed results in 2025. They won titles at Fragadelphia Ultra Mega Jersey and qualified for ESL Pro League Season 50, but struggled at the StarLadder Budapest Major, leaving in Stage 1 with a 2-3 record during a period of roster changes.
With oSee back, NRG is opting for familiarity and experience as it tries to build momentum for the new year. The upcoming Fragadelphia Miami event will serve as an early test for the new roster and an opportunity to assess whether the changes yield more consistent results.
