The organization is based in Hong Kong and aims to build a team from the Oceanic region.
Multiple sources who spoke to HLTV said Talon has shown interest in rejoining CS2 with an Oceanic lineup led by former Renegades and 100 Thieves member Aaron ‘AZR’ Ward.
Talon is primarily known for its teams in League of Legends, Dota 2, and Valorant. However, it has not been active in the Counter-Strike scene since 2018. Its previous squad, composed entirely of Taiwanese players, participated in the eXTREMESLAND 2017 Asia Finals in Shanghai, where it secured the 13th-15th position.
For the potential return to the game, Talon is relying on a veteran captain. ‘AZR’ has been inactive since April 2023, when Sprout released him after less than two months on the team.
The 31-year-old is looking to revive his career. He has competed in six Majors, his most recent appearance being the StarLadder Berlin Major in 2019, where he led Renegades to the semi-finals.

According to sources, Corey ‘nettik’ Browne, Jared ‘hazr’ O’Bree, and Christian ‘ADDICT’ Pendleton are being considered for the team. Talon is also looking at European players like ENCE’s benched sniper Olek ‘hades’ Miskiewicz and Nemiga’s Beksultan ‘khaN’ Ospan for the AWP role.
There are reports that Talon has been in talks with Daniel ‘djL’ Narancic for the head coach position. Narancic, a Swede, has been without a job since February when Ninjas in Pyjamas relieved him of his duties. Afterward, Richard ‘Xizt’ Landström was appointedas the new head coach.
