Danish esports organization OG has officially said goodbye to Shahar “flameZ” Shushan as the Israeli star has moved to Vitality, confirming an earlier report by BLIX.flameZ joins the squad as a replacement for 30-year-old veteran Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen, who leaves the roster almost exactly a month after winning his fifth CS:GO Major title.
“While we feel the weight of his departure, we also recognize that change is an integral part of growth. Peterâs departure provides us an opportunity to bring fresh talent into our team in order to build a new generation of champions. Danny “zonic” Sørensen, our head Coach, always guided by a vision for the future firmly believes that this transition, while challenging, will pave the way for us to cultivate new talents and strategies that will keep our team at the forefront of the Counter Strike scene,” noted the Vitality statement.
With flameZ exiting OG, the team have been reduced to just one active player, Maciej “F1KU” Miklas, although they are reportedly looking to return to full strength according to a report by neL of 1pv.
