American esports organization Cloud9 is close to signing Russian the duo Denis “electroNic” Sharipov and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy from Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere, according to a report by Dexetro.
There are also rumors that Cloud9 members Kazakhstanis Abai “HObbit” Hasenov and Timur “buster” Tulepov could be leaving.
It has been reported by BLIX’s sources that NAVI, in their efforts to build an international CS:GO team, is all set to recruit Lithuanian rifler Justinas “jL” Lekavicius from Apeks. However, it seems that the organization has also decided to part ways with their Russian players.
Although they do not represent the Russian Federation and play under a neutral flag, their presence in the team irritates fans after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
According to 1pv.fr, NAVI is also negotiating with Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen from Ninjas in Pyjamas and Ivan “iM” Mihai from GamerLegion.
Cloud9 CS:GO squad could be:
- Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov
- Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov
- Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy
- Konstantin “groove” Pikiner (Coach)
