CSGO community skins have opened up a world of possibilities for artists when it comes to incorporating hidden messages and details into their designs, from having plain skins like the AWP | Medusa and AWP | Atheris, to making the skins more interesting with easter eggs. These Easter eggs can share a part of the gameâs history, The artistâs personality and even special memorable moments.

While the game already has many Easter eggs scattered around the maps, as skin enthusiasts, we couldn’t resist exploring some of the most interesting Easter eggs you can find on skins!
Contents
Desert Eagle | Trigger Discipline
We definitely wanted to start off the skins Easter eggs with some love.
Although itâs unnoticeable in-game, The Trigger Disciplineâs texture pattern shows a âDedicated to my brotherâ text which is a message from âmoonfighterâ to his brother.
âJust wanted to somehow tell my brother to believe in himself, and what is a better place for a reminder than the texture of the official skin in game.â – moonfighter
Bomb Codes
While the gameâs objective is built around planting and defusing the bomb, the community has developed an affection for the bomb code itself, becoming a symbol of the game throughout the years.
With some community members deciding to get it tattooed on their arms, others implemented it as part of their skins and artwork.
Speaking of artwork, Skin.Club will be hosting a competition where you can showcase your talent by drawing & painting CS:GO skins related artworks to get the chance of winning amazing prizes.
Galil AR | Eco
The Galil AR | Eco design is simple and clean â but the creator found a sleek way to insert the bomb code as part of the QR code. It can be seen on both sides of the weapon, just be careful to not hurt your eyes when squinting because the code is small!
Tec-9 | Jambiya
While it looks like the average blue CS:GO skin, a âJambiyaâ is in fact an Arabian dagger, which inspired the artistâs motif and smart integration of Arabic numerals as the bomb code. It can be seen on the right side of the weapon.
AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel
One of the oldest skins in the game, The Wasteland Rebel hides more details in the texture pattern than shown on the play side. The bomb codeâs engraved on the metal and is visible on the front of the weapon.
Thatâs not all this skin has to offer. On the back side, the words âMAKE THEM CRYâ is written in reverse alongside Persian script âÙ٠٠صدÙ٠را ب٠Ùدâ which translates to âSuck the injured personâ according to online fan translators.
Remember when you had to squint your eyes to see the bomb code on the Galil AR | Eco? Squint even harder on the pattern template, Youâll notice âThe pizza is a lieâ written on the wood which; a reference to Portal and the infamous text of âThe cake is a lieâ found scribbled within hidden cubby-holes throughout the gameâs test chambers.
Galil AR | Chatterbox
Artists are creative when executing their ideas, and this skin is an excellent example.
The skull on the skin has a perfect placement when shooting; the charging handle of the Galil AR moves back and forth making the skull artwork appear as if it was opening its mouth.
Hungry for more? Certainly, The Chatterbox screams âFEED MEâ on the back of the skull and weapon. If you own this skin, you better feed it some frags.
Famas | Crypsis
The Crypsis might not have the flashiest colors or the impressive artwork of an anime waifu. In fact, itâs the complete opposite. Itâs scary and frightening, especially if you have entomophobia. You might be wondering what does a skin with leaf artwork have to do with bugs? Well, Theyâre not actually leaves.
âThey are the Ghost Insects from the phasmatodea order, masters of camouflage. This is an antipredator adaptation : you can’t see them.â – MGBazz
The name Crypsis describes the ability of an animal to avoid observation or detection by other animals, which makes sense since theyâre hard to notice in the design.
R8 Revolver | Bone Forged
Except for the skull on the handle, This R8 Revolver at first glance might look like a typical blue skin but with one little exceptional feature; the word âHungryâ is written on the bullets when reloading.
(This skin might be hungry, but it doesnât seem like itâs being fed lately after the R8 Revolver nerf that made the majority of players unequip it.)
AK-47 | Cartel
The level of detail is immaculate â skulls, snakes and flowers decorate the AK-47 Cartel creating an artwork easily described as a masterpiece.
The skulls make the most out of this skin, with different placements around the weapon. A triangle with an eye resembling the Illuminati logo can also be seen. But that doesnât come close to the importance of the âHasta Siempreâ written on top of the gun.
A reference to a famous song; âHasta Siempre, Comandanteâ which translates to âUntil Forever, Commanderâ.
Itâs a 1965 song by Carlos Puebla. The song’s lyrics are a reply to revolutionary Che Guevara’s farewell letter when he left Cuba in order to encourage revolution in the Congo and later Bolivia, where he was captured and killed.
The R.I.P. acronyms after âHasta Siempreâ to wish eternal peace to the revolutionist.
SSG 08 | Fever Dream
While the SSG 08 and AWP Fever Dream might seem similar, there are big differences and details in the scout. It appears as if the Fever Dream is worse; with more vivid messages conveying scary thoughts.
âI hope that I crash and dieâ, âNever Sorryâ, âPainâ and even â4:20â and âACABâ can be noticed in the pattern template of the skin. But the major difference is the Chinese writing located on the back side of the weapon.
According to the artist Apel, It translates to âSheâs bad, and Iâm goodâ which is a reference to his favorite moment from the “Xavier Wulf & Bones â Bochi Nibuku” song.
Nova | Toy Soldier
Donât judge this skin until you hear its backstory. While some skins look outstanding with beautiful artwork, Other skinsâ beauty is in their simplicity.
The Toy Soldier collection is based around the little green toys we used to play with as children. Which is why a childish drawing of soldiers and tanks can be seen when inspecting the skin in Battle-Scarred condition.
A remarkable idea that takes us back to the good old days while enjoying our favorite game as grown-ups.
Community made skins are a blessing we all should be grateful for, They provide us with different stories, ideas and even a glimpse into the artistsâ personality and life.
While some prefer skins like the AWP | Dragon Lore or AWP | Asiimov for their beautiful artworks and designs, Others simply enjoy the lesser popular skins with more interesting stories and hidden easter eggs.
After all, To each his own, as long as your own gets you egg-cited and happy playing the game we all cherish and love, Counter-Strike.
