Previous Encounter & Player Stats – G2 vs. MOUZ

Team Form & Key Players Ahead of the Quarter-final
G2: Momentum, Confidence, and Teamplay
G2 impressed throughout the group stage, showcasing excellent teamplay rather than relying on individual star power. Every player contributed evenly, creating a balanced and disciplined lineup. They won all their matches on the way to the playoffs, except against Team Spirit, and even that loss was a nail-biter, ending 16-13 on the decider map.
This version of G2 looks confident, motivated, and in sync. Their cohesion has been one of the biggest strengths at this tournament, and they appear to be peaking at the right time.
MOUZ: Searching for Consistency
MOUZ, on the other hand, has struggled to find consistency. They looked shaky against NRG, an underdog, and appeared disorganized in their loss to Aurora. Despite being a top-five team in the world, much of that ranking comes from last year’s results, and it remains unclear which version of MOUZ we are seeing in 2026.
MOUZ did get wins over FaZe and Falcons to make the playoffs, but their play still seemed uncertain. torszi has been their most reliable player, keeping up his strong form from last year, which helps a lot. Still, in such a tough tournament, one player’s consistency might not be enough for MOUZ to go far.

G2 vs MOUZ – Quarter-final Prediction
Before the tournament, MOUZ probably would have been the clear favorite. But with how both teams are playing now, the difference is much smaller. Unless MOUZ finds their rhythm again, G2 seems like the stronger and more dependable team right now.
Prediction: G2 to win this match.
Will G2 keep up their strong run, make the semi-finals, and get payback for BLAST London 2025? Or will MOUZ show they’re back in top shape and ready to compete for the trophy? We’ll see this Friday at 19:00 CET.
