South America Returns to the Major Stage
This tournament marks the return of a CS2 Major to South America for the first time since IEM Rio 2022. While Brazil hosted the previous Major, Buenos Aires 2027 will be the first Major in Argentina, marking a major milestone for the region’s esports ecosystem.
About the Organizer: FiReSPORTS

FiReSPORTS is a tournament organizer from Argentina that is quickly growing. While new to major CS2 events, it has earned respect by running smaller international tournaments, like a memorable 2025 event in the Buenos Aires subway and past events with teams such as Virtus.pro and Team Spirit.
Despite earlier setbacks, such as a brief, ultimately unsuccessful partnership with PGL, during which scheduled events were replaced, FiReSPORTS is now taking the biggest step in its history by hosting a CS2 Major.
What to Expect Next?
Other details, such as ticket information and how teams will qualify, have not been announced yet. However, the event is set for May to June 2027 in Buenos Aires.
With so much passion for Counter-Strike in Argentina and all of South America, this Major could be one of the most exciting yet, thanks to the crowd and the competition.
