Ukrainian AWPer Daniil “headtr1ck” Valitov has officially entered free agency after parting ways with B8, making the 21-year-old available to join a new team without contractual restrictions.
The move comes two months after headtr1ck was placed on the transfer list, when B8 began evaluating alternative options for the AWP role. The organization later replaced him with temporary options, including Mykhailo–Nazarii “segukawa” Bybel and academy loanee Daniil “s1zzi” Vinnyk, signaling that a permanent change was likely.
With the separation now finalized, headtr1ck is no longer tied to the Ukrainian organization and is free to explore new opportunities.

End of a Two-Year Run With B8

headtr1ck joined B8 in April 2024 and spent nearly two years with the team, helping the roster gradually climb the rankings through consistent online performances and appearances at international events. During his time with the squad, he posted a 1.09 average rating.
Among the highlights of his stint was B8’s run at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, where the team reached the final Swiss stage and ultimately finished 9-11th. The event marked headtr1ck’s third Major appearance, following previous appearances with B8 and, earlier in his career, with Ninjas in Pyjamas.
However, his form fluctuated in late 2025 as B8 transitioned into more frequent tier-one competition, with the AWPer averaging a 0.94 rating during the latter part of the year.
From Academy Prospect to Free Agent

headtr1ck first gained recognition in NAVI Junior, where strong performances in the WePlay Academy League established him as one of the region’s most promising young snipers. His development earned him a move to Ninjas in Pyjamas in early 2023, where he competed at top-tier events and attended the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
After leaving NIP in 2024, he joined B8 and continued building his reputation in the international scene before eventually being benched earlier this year.
What’s Next for headtr1ck?
Now entering free agency at just 21 years old, headtr1ck becomes an intriguing option for teams seeking a young AWPer with Major experience. The Ukrainian player has previously indicated he is open to both AWP and rifling roles, potentially widening the range of teams that could consider signing him.
With roster shuffles expected across the scene ahead of upcoming events, headtr1ck’s next destination could emerge quickly as organizations look to reinforce their lineups.
