PARIVISION IEM Krakow Run Ends in Narrow Defeat to Astralis

PARIVISION had a strong start to 2026, but their IEM Krakow run ended on February 1. The Russian team lost a close 2-1 match to Astralis in the lower bracket.

PARIVISION entered Krakow with momentum after winning BLAST Bounty Season 1. They had just earned their first Tier-1 trophy, beating Falcons 3-0 in the finals and taking down top teams like Spirit and FURIA.

PARIVISION started well at IEM Krakow, moving through Stage 1 by defeating Aurora and HEROIC. These wins raised hopes for another strong run.

In Stage 2, PARIVISION had trouble staying consistent against stronger teams. They lost a key match to Natus Vincere and were later knocked out by Astralis in the lower-bracket decider.

This series showed that PARIVISION couldn’t maintain the high level of play they had during their BLAST Bounty win:

    • Overpass: Astralis narrowly beat PARIVISION 13-11, pulling ahead after a tense middle part of the game.
    • On Dust2, PARIVISION fought back, forced overtime, and won 16-13 to stay in the match.
    • Ancient: Astralis took back the lead with a 13-7 win, securing the series and knocking out PARIVISION.

BLAST Bounty vs. IEM Krakow: Two Different Stories

Team PARIVISION at BLAST Bounty 2026

Winning BLAST Bounty was a big achievement for PARIVISION early in the year. They dropped only one map and showed strong tactics, teamwork, and the skill to beat top teams.

However, their IEM Krakow performance showed what many analysts and fans have noticed: the team struggled to repeat their earlier success against top teams at a major event. Against Astralis, who have a lot of LAN experience, PARIVISION’s best moments were matched by smart plays from their opponents.

Even with the loss, there were some positives. Winning on Dust2 showed PARIVISION’s resilience and ability to adapt during a series. Still, looking at the whole event in Krakow, they couldn’t prove themselves over the long run. That’s a challenge they’ll try to overcome as the CS2 season goes on.

    What’s Next for PARIVISION?

With IEM Krakow finished, PARIVISION can look back on a run that showed both promise and tough competition at the top level. With a Tier-1 trophy already this year, fans and rivals will be watching to see if they can become consistent contenders.
