Underdog PARIVISION Turn the Tables
Team Spirit entered the match as heavy favorites, boasting one of the strongest rosters in the tournament and high expectations. However, PARIVISION considered outsiders refused to roll over.
After losing the first map on Overpass (13-5), PARIVISION bounced back with resilience and smart tactics, winning both Mirage (13-9) and Ancient (13-8) to take the series.
They won by disciplined mid-round decisions and strong performances from every player. Smart use of utility and clutch plays helped shift the momentum their way and take down Spirit.
Map 1 – Overpass: Spirit Take Command Early
Team Spirit started strong on Overpass, winning the first pistol round and building a 5-0 lead on the CT side. Their setup left PARIVISION with little space, and although PARIVISION managed to break through, they only took four rounds in the first half. One of those came from a memorable 1v2 clutch by Jame.
Spirit kept their momentum in the second half with another pistol round win and finished the map 13-5. This result put PARIVISION at a disadvantage as the underdogs.
Map 2 – Mirage: PARIVISION’s Strategic Turnaround
PARIVISION’s choice to start Mirage on the T-side raised eyebrows, but it paid off. They raced to a 4-0 lead early and kept Spirit guessing with strong execution and smart spacing. Spirit fought back and eventually found parity thanks to impactful plays from magixx and zont1x, but once PARIVISION stabilized their economy and tempo, they seized control.
Key utility usage and mid-round reads allowed PARIVISION to shut down Spirit’s pushes, ultimately closing the map 13-9 and leveling the series.
Map 3 – Ancient: Momentum Carries PARIVISION Through
Spirit again started strong on Ancient, making it a 5-1 lead with heavy early pressure and disciplined CT setups. But PARIVISION answered with a dominant 6-0 run to lead at halftime, flipping the script.
In the second half, even after losing the pistol round, PARIVISION kept their defense strong. BELCHONOKK stood out with a great rating and high-impact plays, helping the team win key rounds. PARIVISION finished the map 13-8 to win the series and shock Spirit.

With the quarterfinals over, PARIVISION is now getting ready to play FURIA in the BLAST Bounty semi-finals. FURIA is another respected international team and will be a tough challenge for PARIVISION. FURIA has played well throughout the event and will be the favorites, but PARIVISION should be confident after their big win over Spirit. The match will take place on January 24 at 19:00 CET.
