The ex-Imperial Valkyries squad will be playing under the Clutchain banner. What’s more, zAAz will be once again a part of the roster, so let’s learn more about it.
Clutchain Signed Pigeons
Clutchain is one of the “new kids on the block,” and it made its first move into the world of esports. The team announced it will sign Pigeons, one of the best CS2 female teams in the world. In case you did not know, this team includes some of the most important players who were a part of the Imperial Valkyries before.
There is more good news for people who followed Pigeons – Zainab” zAAz” Turkie will be coming back to the team. She will replace Narmina “ wieenN” Gasanova after her decision to leave the team in June last year.
These changes come at a really good time because Pigeons have not had much success in 2026. Sure, the team secured first place at the JB Pro League Female Season 1 this February, but this was pretty much it.
Here is the current roster of Clutchain:
- Katarina “Kat” Vaskova
- Wiktoria “vicu” Janica
- Victoria “tory” Kazieva
- Alexandra “twenty3” Timonina
- Zainab “zAAz” Turkie
Future Opportunities
The CS2 female scene hasn’t had the best time so far, but it seems like 2026 will be a pivotal year. A few days ago, BC.Game announced a series of women’s CS2 tournaments with a $25,000 prize pool in Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for some of the best teams and players to show what they’re made of. It’s also a breath of fresh air for the sport as a whole because the scene has been struggling since ESL’s decision to stop the Impact Circuit.
If you want to see Cutchain in action, you will have the opportunity to do that at the HEROIC Academy next Thursday. The team is playing in the lower bracket of the ESL Challenger League Season 51 Europe Cup 3 and it will be interesting to see their results.
