ENCE has accepted an invitation to compete in the Skyesports Championship, as announced by the event’s organizer. This comes after Skyesports’ decision to expand the international tournament from eight to 12 teams and increase the prize pool by $100,000 to $300,000. Read more about that change.
ENCE has been announced as the seventh top-30 team to participate in the upcoming Indian event. They join The MongolZ, Eternal Fire, BetBoom, FURIA, Aurora, and 3DMAX on the confirmed team list. Additionally,Revenant and the local team True Rippers, winner of the Indian closed qualifier, are also set to compete in the event.
ENCE will be making their third LAN appearance since two roster changes at the end of May. They finished joint-bottom of their group at YaLLa Compass 2024 with only one victory out of five best-of-one games.
Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander’s team put up a much stronger performance at ESL Challenger Jönköping, defeating MIBR and Complexity in the group stage before losing to Falcons in the semi-finals.
The Skyesports Championship in Mumbai from July 23-29 will start with two groups of six teams in a round-robin stage, followed by single-elimination playoffs.
