Team Vitality delivered a strong performance against MOUZ, becoming the first team to reach the playoffs at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 with a 2-0 series win.
Vitality, currently the world’s top team, controlled the match from start to finish and won both maps convincingly. This win, along with their strong record against MOUZ, showed they are in great form.

Map 1 – Dust2. One-Sided for Vitality
On the first map, Vitality quickly took control, even though MOUZ won some early rounds after the pistol. Vitality’s aggressive plays and teamwork broke through MOUZ’s defenses.
Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan was deadly in entry situations, while Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut made a consistent impact throughout the map and match. Thanks to apEX’s leadership, Vitality earned a comfortable 13-5 win.
Map 2 – Inferno. No Help for MOUZ
Vitality kept their momentum going on Inferno, where their defense was almost impossible to break. Strong anchoring from ropz and multi-kill rounds from ZywOo helped the team build a commanding 9-3 lead.
MOUZ struggled early, losing all of the first nine opening duels. Their only highlight came when Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás pulled off a 1v3 ace clutch to win their first round.
Torzsi’s four kills in the second pistol round gave MOUZ some hope, but Vitality closed out the map 13-8 to win the series.
ZywOo Stands Out
ZywOo was the top performer in the series, finishing with 44 kills and an impressive 1.80 rating across both maps. He got strong support from flameZ and ropz, showing Vitality’s depth and teamwork.
Even though torzsi had some big plays, MOUZ struggled as a team and were outmatched by Vitality’s teamwork and firepower.

With this win, Vitality became the first team to qualify for the playoff stage at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, confirming their status as tournament favorites. Their strong form, deep map pool, and consistent wins against top teams make them a top contender for the title.
