Team Liquid is in negotiations with Virtus.pro to transfer CS:GO player Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis from Russian to a European esports organization.
“We are working with YEKINDAR to hopefully have some good long term news soon,” Team Liquid General Manager Steve Perino reported on Twitter.
Earlier, Liquid confirmed that they would play with YEKINDAR again at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups.
The 22-year-old Latvian has already played for Liquid as a stand-in at IEM Cologne 2022. Together with the esportsman, the North American team reached the 1/4 finals.
YEKINDAR has been inactive in Virtus.pro since May this year.
