Day 3 of DreamLeague Season 28 is over, which means we are halfway through the first group stage. Since we have seen a lot of games so far, we already have an idea of the potential favorites in each group. That’s why it’s time for a quick recap of everything that happened so far.
Group A
After three days of matches, DreamLeague Season 28’s Group A has two clear leaders – Aurora Gaming and PARIVISION. The latter has one draw and three victories, whereas Aurora remains undefeated so far. So far, the team has defeated BetBoom Team, paiN, Yakult Brothers and Team Liquid.
Speaking of the devil, Liquid’s current results put the team in the top 4. The BLAST Slam VI winner has two victories, one draw and one loss. OG is also doing well and currently has the same stats as Liquid.
Team Yandex is the biggest disappointment so far because the team is yet to win a single series. So far, Yandex has one draw and three losses, so it will be hard to finish among the top 4.
Group B
Moving on to Group B, this is definitely the more interesting of the two. The teams here are much closer in terms of their stats (at least for now) and MOUZ is currently in the lead. The team has two wins and two draws and fans are eager to see if it will maintain its streak.
Tundra Esports is in the same boat as MOUZ when it comes to stats. BZM and the rest delivered a nasty defeat to Team Spirit in the last match of Day 3 and are looking like one of the favorites so far.
Natus Vincere, Team Falcons and Xtreme Gaming have the same stats and are currently living up to the expectations.
Most people are probably not surprised that GamerLegion and Execration are among the bottom 4 teams right now. However, the same can’t be said about Team Spirit, one of the favorites. Spirit currently has two draws and one loss and will have to step up its game.
DreamLeague Season 28 – What’s Next?
We will have two more days of matches in the DreamLeague Season 28’s Group Stage. Once all the matches are over, the top 4 teams from both groups will advance to the second Group Stage. It will take place between February 21 – 27 and we expect to see some amazing matches. Stay tuned for more information.
