PGL Wallachia Season 7 Overview
PGL has established itself as one of the leading Dota 2 tournament organizers, and we’ll see plenty of events from them in 2026. The first one will take place in Bucharest, Romania’s capital, and will feature the top 16 Dota 2 teams in the world. They will be playing for $1,000,000 prize pool between March 7 – 15, 2026.
Format & Prize Pool of PGL Wallachia Season 7
The 7th season of PGL Wallachia will include a Group Stage and Playoffs. The Group Stage will use a modified Swiss system, with 16 teams playing in Bo3 matches. The top 8 will proceed to the Playoffs, whereas the rest will be eliminated from the event.
When the Playoffs arrive, we will have a double-elimination bracket of Bo4 matches and a Bo5 Grand Final.
The PGL Wallachia Season 7 prize pool is $1,000,000 and will be distributed as follows:
- 1st Place – $300,000
- 2nd Place – $175,000
- 3rd Place – $120,000
- 4th Place – $80,000
- 5th-6th Place – $60,000
- 7th-8th Place – $40,000
- 9th-11th Place – $20,000
- 12th-14th Place – $15,000

If we have to point out the favorites, we can definitely focus on Aurora Gaming and Team Liquid. The latter recently won BLAST Slam VI and did an excellent job at DreamLeague Season 28. It seems like the current meta fits the team’s playstyle really well.
Aurora Gaming is definitely the second big name that people will have to look for at the PGL Wallachia Season 7. The team had an incredible, undefeated streak and continues to impress everyone with its results. Don’t be surprised if the odds to win the competition are low because many bookies will consider the team among the favorites.
