BLG is among the best LPL teams in League of Legends, but it seems like the squad has an internal issue. Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin almost lost his place in the roster after he literally left the team’s gaming house. Let’s dive in.
Bin Almost Left BLG
The incident took place a couple of days ago, as Bin was about to leave the team that nearly defeated T1 in the 2024 Worlds final. It seems like tensions were high after losing two series against JDG have spiked the tension. In fact, this is one of the teams that BLG should not really have lost two, especially two times in a week.
Even though we are not sure whether this was the reason for the scandal, it became clear that Bin did not like it. The team’s top laner got into an argument with the gaming house’s management. As a result, he packed his bag and just left, leaving BLG with 4 players. The squad had to call up their LDL top laner because they did not have any replacements.
Based on some sources, Bin got into an argument with the management because of his frustration. It seems like there is an ongoing problem within the roster that needs to be resolved.
Following the accident, Bin eventually came back and apologized for his actions. What’s interesting is that BLG decided to keep Yang “Wenbo” Wen-Bo (the LDL top laner) just in case Bin decides to make a move like that.
Another interesting thing is that Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang said that Bin was almost removed from his team last year. There was a dispute with the team’s coach.
We also want to remind you that the entire roster was caught doing illegal gambling, but for whatever reason, no actions were taken against them.
Bin’s Role at BLG
We can safely say that BLG’s success has a lot to do with Bin. He has been a key player for the squad and was the big reason for its success years ago. The player almost won Worlds 2020 and managed to secure MSI 2022 while also getting the only Worlds Finals Pentakill.
It’s safe to say that Bin is no stranger to success, but it seems his current team is not allowing him to shine. Instead of playing some of the more offensive champions he is known for, Bin focuses mostly on some of the safer top lamers.
We do not know what will happen with BLG in the future and whether Bin will remain a part of the team. Considering the situation and his actions, we would not be surprised if the player leaves the organization.
