League of Legends will offer a pretty impressive prize pool of $1.5M and teams from all regions will have the chance to take part in it. The Esports Nations Cup (ENC) will consist of 32 teams, 16 of which will be directly invited. We will see 14 LoL squads from the qualifiers, with the last two coming from the Wild Card entries.

Which Teams Will Attend LoL ENC?

ENC’s organizers will establish a special ranking system that will determine the top-performing nations. They will be based on the competitive level and the results of the players from each national roster. The respective federation will be required to submit its lineups by April 30 (all rankings will be finalized in June).

The nations not directly invited will have to compete in qualifiers from June 19 – 21. We will see three teams that will represent 8 specific regions as follows:

    • North America
    • South America
    • Eastern Europe
    • Western Europe
    • Southeast Asia
    • Ocenia
    • Asia
    • Middle East and Africa

    The Format

Once it is time for the Esports Nations Cuo’s final week, we will have three stages. The first one will have Play-Ins and will feature four groups that will have 6 teams each (including the highest-ranked nations). All series here will be in a double round-robin best-of-one format.

After the matches are over, the top 8 squads will advance to the Group Stage, where there will be 16 teams. The latter will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams, each playing in a single round-robin Bo3 format.

As for the playoffs, we will see 8 teams in a single-elimination bracket with Bo3 matches and a Bo5 Grand Final. Don’t forget to visit our site to learn more about the national teams’ competition once the information becomes available.
