It seems we are getting close to League of Legends Patch 26.4, as we already have some information about it. Unless something changes, the latest LoL update will arrive on February 19. We will have different champion nerf and buffs, as well as different system adjustments, so let’s dive into what we know so far.

Even though this League of Legends update will not have any groundbreaking changes, it will deliver crucial balance changes. Riot continues to refine the early 2026 meta because it wants to ensure that everything looks ok prior to the first big LoL competitions.

Based on the early analytics, Riot proved once again that it listens to the community. The company has observed that there is a substantial decrease in the game length and this is mainly because of turret placement changes from before. It seems like most players believe that the jungle/mid/support seem to have a somewhat weaker role than before, and Ripto will be looking to close the gap between them and top/bot.

LoL Patch 26.4 Champions Buffs and Nerfs

Even though we’ll have to wait a few days until the latest LoL patch becomes available, we already know details about some of the buffs and nerfs. The following names will be getting positive changes:

    • Annie
    • Camille
    • Darius
    • Graves
    • Hwei
    • Lux
    • Samira
    • Udyr
    • Xayah

With that said, some of the fan-favorite LoL champions will also receive nerfs. Their names are as follows:

    • Aphelios
    • Jinx
    • Kassadin
    • Gwen
    • Syndra
    • Twitch
    • Zac
    • Qiyana

It seems like Ryze and Senna will be getting more targeted adjustments instead of number tweaks. The two junglers will also be getting a small buff.

League of Legends System and Ranked Changes

Alongside the buffs and nerfs among champions, we will also have several small system and ranked changes. Based on our information, the Hexoptics will be reduced a bit so that the damage boost isn’t so restrictive.

In terms of ranked, Riot will change some of the recently-added changes to the Challenger ranked queue. There will be a rebalancing between the match quality and queue times because it seems like people are waiting longer than they should.

Once again, League of Legends Patch 26.4 will arrive on February 19, so make sure to follow us for more details.
