Fnatic decided to make an interesting move ahead of the LEC 2026 tournament by adding Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidis to its roster. He was a part of Karmine Corp and won LEC Winter 2025, so it’s safe to say he has the needed experience. Here’s what we know so far.
Fnatic Added Vladi to its Roster
While playing for Karmine Corp, Vladi became the second-youngest mid-laner in League of Legends to win this event. The 20-year-old quickly made a name for himself as he even grabbed the MVP of the LEC Winter 2025 Split. The bad news is that he and his team could not achieve the goals they wanted to, as they both failed to qualify for League of Legends Worlds.
Many fans were kind of worried about Vladi’s well-being after it became clear the player played more than 2000 games last season. Fortunately, the change and the move to Fnatic should have a positive effect on the young star.
In his first interview for his new team, Vladi said that he’s looking forward to playing on the big stage. He also mentioned that he wants to break Fnatic’s curse and believes that the current squad has a lot of potential. Speaking of curses, it’s been over 7 years since the EU squad won a big League of Legends competition.
Fnatic’s Roster for LEC
Even though we do not have any details about Fnatic’s botlaner for the upcoming tournament, the team’s roster should look like this:
- Panagiotis “Empyros” Tantis
- Ivan “Razork” Martin Diaz
- Vladimiros “Vladi” Kourtidis
- Elias “Upset” Lipp
- Park “Lospa” Joon-hyeong
An interesting thing is that Vladi will be playing alongside another top-tier Greek LoL player – Empyros. Fnatic added him to the roster from Gentle Mates.
Razork is another interesting name that we’ll see in action and some reports mentioned that Vladi was really looking forward to playing with him. It will be interesting to see if the team will be able to live up to its fans’ expectations.
