US esports organization Spacestation Gaming has parted ways with three of their players from the core of its Rainbow Six Siege roster, one stand-in player and the coach.
“For five years we’ve been rockin with the core of this squad!! While we’re excited for our future in R6. It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to some of the best to ever do it! Once an astronaut’¦ ALWAYS AN ASTRONAUT,” noted the Spacestation statement.
The organization has said goodbye to Nathanial “Rampy” Duvall, Dylan “Bosco” Bosco, Alexander “Yeti” Lawson, stand-in Luke “Luke” Slota and the coach Justin “Lycan” Woods.
Two other athletes, who remain in the squad, Alec “Fultz” Fultz (captain) and Matthew “Hotancold” Stevens, shared their words of gratitude to departing colleagues.
Spacestation didn’t shine last season. They ranked 9th – 12th at the Six Jönköping Major 2022 and also 9th – 12th at the Six Invitational 2023. They also didn’t take significant places according to the results of the North American League 2022 Stages. In previous years, the team has repeatedly won the Stages in the NAL and the Six Invitational in 2020. Bosco and Canadian also won Six Invitational (Xbox One and PC) in 2017 with the other teams.
Bosco says he plans to continue his career as a coach.
“For now, I’m very interested in stepping into the coaching side of the game and bringing my knowledge/experience to a team to better them together and individually,” he noted on Tweetlonger.
Luke also wants to work as a coach or an analyst and is ready to relocate from NA. Yeti has said that he is already a part of the team but he is not going to reveal the team yet.
