IEM Chengdu 2024<\/strong> will be the first tournament after this year’s most significant battle at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024<\/strong>. It will feature sixteen teams fighting for a prize pool of $250,000<\/strong> and a slot at another tournament called IEM Cologne 2024<\/strong>. Half of the teams participating here also participated in the PGL Major<\/strong>; the rest are yet to prove themselves. Team FaZe<\/strong> is here, and since the only team they lost in the Grand Final<\/strong> of PGL Major <\/strong>was Natus Vincere<\/strong>, and they’re not here, is it FaZe<\/strong> to take a more minor but still a trophy here? We will see it very soon. The tournament will be held from April 8<\/strong> to April 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

IEM Chengdu 2024 Tournament Format<\/h2>\n

Group Stage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two double-elimination format (GSL) Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Each group has eight teams<\/li>\n
  • Opening matches: Best-of-one (bo1)<\/li>\n
  • Subsequent matches: Best-of-three (bo3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The top three teams from each group advance to the Playoffs:<\/strong><\/p>\n
