As European RMR B <\/strong>ended, we got to know seven more teams qualified for the Shanghai Major, <\/strong>and the list of 24 teams<\/strong> in total has been finalized. The Perfect World Shanghai Major <\/strong>will be held from November 30<\/strong> to December 15, <\/strong>with a total prize pool of $1,250,000<\/strong> to be split between the teams, with the first place <\/strong>getting $500,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European RMR B: How It Went<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It didn’t go without surprises. First of all, such teams as Astralis <\/strong>and Eternal Fire<\/strong> didn’t make it to Shanghai Major<\/strong> as both teams lost some important matches to underdog teams on their way, and it made for them a hard way to get out of it. What about winners and surprises in that case? Two teams that got their spot without losing a single game with a score of 3-0 <\/strong>weren’t G2<\/strong>, Spirit <\/strong>as many would expect, but it was 3DMAX <\/strong>and BIG <\/strong>who seemed unstoppable. 3DMAX <\/strong>match for the spot was against G2, <\/strong>and it was when both teams had a score of 2-0<\/strong>. and most people expected G2 <\/strong>to win and get their place at this point, but 3DMAX, <\/strong>in a hard match after losing the first map were able to make a comeback and take that game with a score of 2-1<\/strong> in their favor. One more underdog team that made it to the Shanghai Major <\/strong>is Passion UA<\/strong>, who played against Astralis <\/strong>in an elimination match and were able to close that match with a score of 2-0<\/strong> in their favor, deserving their spot at the Shanghai Major<\/strong>. It will be interesting to see if either of these three teams who made it against the odds at the qualifiers can make it far at the main event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
