Fnatic <\/strong>has revealed that they are ending their collaboration with Jamie ‘\u2060keita\u2060’ <\/strong>Hall, concluding a partnership that spanned more than three years. This announcement follows fnatic’s <\/strong>disappointing performance in the Major, where they were eliminated from the Opening Stage <\/strong>after suffering three consecutive losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Keita’ <\/strong>had been leading fnatic <\/strong>since August 2021, when he came on board shortly after leaving Complexity as part of a restructuring that resulted in the sidelining of Jesper ‘JW\u2060’ <\/strong>Wecksell and Maikil ‘Golden\u2060’ <\/strong>Selim, along with the addition of William ‘mezii\u2060’ <\/strong>Merriman and Alex ‘ALEX\u2060’ <\/strong>McMeekin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British coach experienced some moderate achievements with fnatic <\/strong>during the initial part of his time there, including victories at DreamHack Open November 2021<\/strong> and Esports Masters Espoo 2022<\/strong>. He led fnatic <\/strong>through three Major campaigns, achieving a top-eight placement at IEM Rio Major 2022<\/strong>. As a result of his contributions, fnatic <\/strong>reached a peak ranking of No. 9 in early 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the later years of ‘keita’s <\/strong>leadership, performance started to decline amid a constant rotation of players, with a total of 20 individuals representing fnatic <\/strong>during the Brit’s time. The team frequently struggled to secure playoff spots at Major Events and steadily dropped in the global rankings, ultimately falling outside the top 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keita’s <\/strong>most recent appearance with Fnatic <\/strong>occurred during the Perfect World Shanghai Major<\/strong> cycle. The team barely secured their RMR with close victories over BetBoom and ECLOT,<\/strong> but they ended up losing all their matches in the Opening Stage <\/strong>against Wildcard<\/strong>, Cloud9<\/strong>, and the lowest-ranked team present, Rare Atom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
