Samet ‘jottAAA’ <\/strong>K\u00f6kl\u00fc has taken the place of Bu\u011fra ‘Calyx’ <\/strong>Ark\u0131n on the roster of Eternal Fire<\/strong> as they head into the 2025 season, the Turkish organization declared on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 22-year-old returns to the organization he played for from 2022 to 2024 as a member of their academy team. Last March, he was sent on loan to Sangal <\/strong>to further his development and ended up making a strong impression in lower-level play, achieving an average rating of 1.12 <\/strong>in 2024, as well as in their only major event appearance at ESL Pro League Season 20<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Calyx’ <\/strong>makes room for a younger player after serving for three years, during which time Eternal Fire<\/strong> transitioned from being a borderline top-20 team to achieving significant success in 2024 with a playoff run at PGL Major Copenhagen<\/strong> and a second-place finish at ESL Pro League Season 20<\/strong>. The 26-year-old will continue to be a part of the organization while he looks into opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eternal Fire<\/strong> is set to make its debut with ‘jottAAA’ <\/strong>on the roster in under two weeks. The squad is scheduled to take part in BLAST Bounty Season 1<\/strong>, which will kick off with a 32-team online segment on January 14, followed by the top eight teams making their way to Copenhagen <\/strong>for the finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, the team holds the 14th position in Valve’s Global standings and is assured a spot in IEM Katowice<\/strong>, which starts with the Play-in stage<\/strong> on January 29<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
