Nikola ‘NiKo’ <\/strong>Kova\u010d has signed with Falcons<\/strong>, marking the beginning of their rebuild for 2025 and concluding a year-long effort to secure his signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following strong connections with the Saudi organization in 2023, ‘NiKo’ <\/strong>turned down Falcons in a remarkable change of heart. However, this year, Falcons <\/strong>made another attempt, and Danny ‘\u2060zonic\u2060’ <\/strong>S\u00f8rensen’s determination has resulted in success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘NiKo’ <\/strong>has ranked among the top five players in the world on six separate occasions and has earned 8 MVP<\/strong> awards along with 49 EVP<\/strong> awards, yet he has not been able to secure a Major title even after teaming up with the prodigy Ilya ‘m0NESY\u2060’ <\/strong>Osipov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve that objective, he will join forces with five-time Major champion ‘zonic’ <\/strong>and four-time winner Emil ‘Magisk\u2060’ <\/strong>Reif, creating a seasoned core consisting of the top Opener, Anchor, and Coach of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a challenging 2024 in which they failed to qualify for both Majors, Falcons <\/strong>are counting on NiKo’s <\/strong>exceptional talent to breathe new life into the often-criticized project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last three players expected to join the Falcons’ roster are likely to be from HEROIC<\/strong>: in-game leader Damjan ‘\u2060kyxsan\u2060’ <\/strong>Stoilkovski, AWPer Abdul ‘\u2060degster\u2060’ <\/strong>Gasanov, and rifler Ren\u00e9 ‘TeSeS\u2060’ <\/strong>Madsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition will elevate Falcons <\/strong>to the eighth position in the Valve Global Standings<\/strong>, guaranteeing them invitations to all major events in early 2025. ‘NiKo’ <\/strong>is poised to make his first appearance with Falcons <\/strong>at the BLAST Bounty<\/strong> on January 12<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
