Sashi <\/strong>has revealed the acquisition of Rasmus ‘Zyphon’ <\/strong>Nordfoss from TSM<\/strong>, with the 20-year-old poised to replace Mikkel ‘MistR’ <\/strong>Thomsen on the main roster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement follows a dry period for the Danish organization, which broke into the top 30 in July following their participation in the Esports World Cup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They participated in only one additional LAN event for the rest of 2024, the Perfect World Shanghai Major<\/strong> EU RMR, where they came close to securing a Major spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Danish team secured victories against Astralis <\/strong>and Eternal Fire<\/strong> but fell short against Virtus.pro<\/strong> and Spirit<\/strong>, finishing the RMR with a 2-3 record. ‘MistR’ <\/strong>ended the event as the highest-rated member of Sashi<\/strong>, achieving a rating of 1.04<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His successor, ‘Zyphon’<\/strong>, participated in the Shanghai RMR<\/strong> alongside TSM <\/strong>and was placed on the bench in December after the organization shifted focus from their Danish lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Zyphon’ <\/strong>recorded an average rating of 1.12 <\/strong>during his 11-month tenure with TSM <\/strong>and offers Sashi <\/strong>both firepower and experience, having advanced to the playoffs of the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 <\/strong>while playing for Copenhagen Flames<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
